Le Mourier Swim School

 Established in 1980, Le Mourier Swim School is an integral part of Jersey’s community, having taught many generations of local families.

With the largest combined experience in the Channel Islands, Le Mourier aims to build confidence and water safety in a calm and caring environment, essential to enjoy everything Jersey has to offer.   

Did you know? Le Mourier self funds its Reception Swimming Programme, ensuring that all children have access to this essential experience before reaching Key Stage 1.

Le Mourier Swim School

For over 40 years, we have been extremely proud to be an integral part of the swimming journey for generations of island families.
From their first bubbles, to our teenage Dolphins and beyond, our highly experienced team of teachers are dedicated to installing water confidence and strong technique during ability graded lessons, with over 2000 swimmers attending each week!
Our team benefits from over 100 years of experience at all levels of teaching swimming and aquatics.

Parent and Child Sessions

Childrens Swimming Lessons

Our wonderful team of career swimming teachers will guide your little one along in their swimming journey through Le Mourier’s ripple scheme.

Dolphins Swimming Squad

Meeting once a week, our Dolphins Aquatic Squad is open to those within our “Gold” Ripple and would like to discover more activity-based swimming alongside the normal stroke technique and stamina work and wish to not progress to competetive swimming. Activities include: Time Trials, Waterpolo, Synchro Swimming and Survival Weeks just to name a few

Adult Swimming Lessons

It is never too late to learn to swim.

Whether you wish to learn how to swim or improve your strokes, Le Mourier has a range of  options available for adult lessons at either of our warm home venues.

Student Teacher Programme

Our Student Teacher Programme (14+) is for those swimmers in our swim school who have been chosen by our Senior Teaching Team as being ready to undertake the training to learn how to assist swimming teachers in the water. This can lead onto completion of their Teaching Qualifications at 16 years of age.

Le Mourier Holiday Activities

Our Holiday Activities are a hugely popular offering, with options available for all ages and abilities.
Enjoy a week packed with activities on our Guppy and Marlin Camps. With swimming each morning – equivalent to a terms worth in a single week –  they will find their confidence, stamina and technique come on in leaps and bounds.
Looking for something a bit smaller?  Our Summer School is back, bigger and better than ever! 

Le Mourier Guppy Camp

Our wonderful Guppy Camp, for ages 4 – 8yrs is the perfect combination of fun, fitness and learning in and around the water. Campers never want the week to end!

Le Mourier Marlin Camp

Our beloved senior aquatics camp for ages 8+ (and swimmers capable of 100m plus) is packed full of exciting activities. It is the culmination of our aquatic camps and is one of Le Mourier’s most enduringly popular offering.
